PAULA MENDOZA reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. The user agrees that PAULA MENDOZA will not be responsible for any modification, suspension, or interruption of the Service. PAULA MENDOZA reserves the right to deactivate accounts, cancel orders, and/or refuse to accept orders from users who violate the Terms or for any other reason determined by PAULA MENDOZA.

 

SHIPPING POLICY

 

When purchasing from PAULA MENDOZA through the website, physical stores, or other enabled commercial channels such as email, WhatsApp, or other instant messaging platforms or social networks, the following applies:

 

Online Purchase Information:

- You can place your order online at www.paulamendoza.com at any time.

- Once payment is made, we will send a purchase confirmation email.

- Orders with multiple items will be shipped when all items are finished and/or in stock, unless specified otherwise in writing.

- PAULA MENDOZA reserves the right to reject sales or cancel orders made by a customer in violation of the site's terms or as determined by PAULA MENDOZA.

 

Brass Jewelry:

- Brass jewelry orders are shipped within 2 to 8 business days after the purchase date within the national territory.

- Shipments within Colombia are entirely free.

- Order tracking information will be sent to the email provided by the customer once the order is dispatched.

 

Fine Jewelry:

- Custom orders for fine jewelry will be confirmed by a team representative in the afternoon, during business hours from Monday to Friday (Colombian and New York standard time).

- Once a fine jewelry order enters production, it is not subject to changes, and we cannot modify or cancel it.

- We will send an email with tracking information when your order is shipped.

- Orders with multiple items will be shipped when all items are finished and/or in stock, unless the user specifies otherwise in writing immediately after making the payment.

- PAULA MENDOZA reserves the right to reject sales or cancel orders made by a customer in violation of the site's terms or as determined by PAULA MENDOZA.

- All fine jewelry is handmade in Colombia.

- All orders are produced once full payment is received.

- Fine jewelry takes approximately 2 weeks to produce and ship.

- It is possible to expedite an order for an additional fee. To validate delivery time, contact our sales team at contact@paulamendoza.com after your purchase.

 

Fashion Jewelry:

- Fashion Jewelry orders are shipped within 2 to 5 business days if the item is in stock.

- Out-of-stock items may take between 2 and 3 weeks to ship.

- An email with tracking information will be sent once your order is dispatched.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

- We ship worldwide using some carrier companies.

- Shipping for orders over $200 USD is free for North America, Central America, and South America, except for Brazil, Uruguay, and the Caribbean.

- We are not responsible for delivery delays or any other issues once your order is shipped. If your order is returned due to non-receipt, the reshipment is at your expense.

- An additional shipping fee will apply to all international orders for dispatch, taking into account carrier company fees and tariff and tax regulations in each destination country. This does not apply to what is specified in the previous point.

- PAULA MENDOZA is NOT responsible for tariffs, taxes, or other additional fees associated with international shipments and any delays or other issues that may arise.

- Shipments to Russia, Brazil, Uruguay, Curaçao, and other countries in the Caribbean, Asia, or Africa may have higher fees than expected.

- The above applies to all three product lines of PAULA MENDOZA (brass jewelry, fashion jewelry, and fine jewelry).

- We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Mercado Pago, and cash (where applicable) as payment methods.

- Full payment must be made before any order is processed and produced.

PAULA MENDOZA reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. PAULA MENDOZA will not be responsible to the customer or third parties for any modification, suspension, or interruption of the Service. PAULA MENDOZA reserves the right to deactivate accounts, cancel orders, and/or refuse to accept orders from users who violate the policy or for any other reason determined by PAULA MENDOZA.

 

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS POLICY

 

When purchasing from PAULA MENDOZA through the website, physical store, or other enabled commercial channels such as email, WhatsApp, or other instant messaging platforms or social networks, the following terms and conditions apply:

 

FINE JEWELRY:

- All sales are final, so no exchanges or returns are made unless exceptional cases are subject to total discretion and approval by PAULA MENDOZA for requests made within the following thirty (30) calendar days after product delivery.

- In the case of receiving jewelry with other specifications or quality defects, contact contact@paulamendoza.com.

- The customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to returns and exchanges, except in cases of warranties approved by Paula Mendoza.

 

BRASS JEWELRY:

- We do not accept exchanges or returns for purchases made in the online store, except for exceptional cases subject to total discretion and approval by PAULA MENDOZA for requests made within the first twenty-four (24) hours, counted from the product delivery.

- It is important to note that the 10% discount granted by subscribing to the PAULA MENDOZA website is exhausted with the first purchase, so it cannot be applied to the exchange of the already purchased piece.

- Please note that we do not authorize the sale or distribution of Paula Mendoza jewelry purchased through our channels and sold to third parties, unofficial stores, or warehouses.

- PAULA MENDOZA is not responsible for lost or damaged items during transportation. Therefore, ensure that the items are returned in a protective box. We recommend using a traceable method with a certified courier company.

 

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL:

- In accordance with current regulations (Law 1480 of 2011 and/or any law that modifies, adds to, and/or repeals it), the User may withdraw from the purchase of products ("Right of Withdrawal") within 5 (five) business days following the date of payment for the purchase through the website.

- However, this rule does not apply to products classified as for personal use, i.e., it does not apply to the Jewelry or pieces offered by Paula Mendoza.

 

CORRECTION OF ERRORS AND INACCURACIES:

- We do our best to present the most up-to-date, accurate, and reliable information on the website at all times. However, the information may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or up-to-date.

- We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change and update the information at any time without notice, even after order confirmation and payment.

- We also reserve the right to reject or cancel any order placed for any incorrectly stated reason, regardless of whether the order was confirmed and charged to your credit card.

- Note that these are unique, handmade pieces.

 

WARRANTIES:

Paula Mendoza creates and manufactures author jewelry, so the customer accepts and understands that the pieces may vary in size or color, depending on their process and production date. Warranty is only valid for a term of three months, provided that the affectation of the piece is derived from its quality or production, at the judgment and/or assessment of the company.

- Changes for warranty will only be made when a defect derived from the quality and/or product of the production process is verified, provided that it occurs during the three (03) months granted, counted from the purchase date.

- The warranty is subject to the company's verification.

- The company may refuse to honor the warranty when it is verified that substances such as creams, makeup, etc., were applied to the surface of the pieces.

- In cases where the piece cannot be repaired, it will be exchanged for an identical or similar one of the same value. If it cannot be repaired, it will be replaced or refunded.

- In case of acceptance of the warranty, items, including their packaging, must be returned in their original sales condition along with the purchase receipt.

 

REPAIR POLICY:

 

Fine Jewelry:

- Email our team at contact@paulamendoza.com for fine jewelry repair or alteration.

- The customer is responsible for the cost of repair or alteration, as well as shipping, unless it is within 30 days of purchase and it is determined that there is a problem with the product.

 

Brass Jewelry:

- Repair options include repainting and/or replacement as necessary.

- The customer is responsible for the cost of repair and shipping.

- Repairs can be processed in-store or shipped.

- To send to Paula Mendoza, use the address indicated below: Carrera 12a #77-22, 1st floor in Bogotá, Colombia.

- Paula Mendoza is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transportation. Therefore, make sure the items are returned in a protective box. We recommend using a traceable method with a certified courier company.

- A sales representative will contact you once we have received the package to proceed with its repair and clarify payment information.

 

EXCHANGE AND WARRANTY POLICIES IN PHYSICAL STORES

 

EXCHANGES:

When buying in Paula Mendoza's physical stores, the following terms and conditions apply:

 

  1. Paula Mendoza's jewelry is unique, for personal and everyday use, so they are not subject to exchanges or returns under any circumstances.
  2. People who make jewelry purchases for events accept and understand that they acquire jewelry for personal and everyday use; therefore, these cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstances.

 

EXCEPTIONAL EXCHANGES:

For people making purchases for gifts, a change invoice (or an equivalent document) will be provided, which can only be presented once. Therefore, the person receiving this jewelry will be entitled to make a single exchange within one month, counted from the purchase date. The exchange will only be accepted as long as the jewelry has not been used, and it is not customized by or for the customer.

 

In cases of exchanges, they cannot be made for items of lesser value since we do not provide refunds under any circumstances. Therefore, it is not possible for the customer to have a credit balance, so the entire value of the initial piece must be exchanged, or a higher-value piece must be chosen, assuming the surplus.

 

EXCHANGES AND OFFERS:

It is important to note that the total value of the piece at the time of the exchange will be taken into account, even if it may have been acquired under a previous promotion, which is not considered valid.

 

WARRANTIES:
